Beaujolais Nouveau Day Celebration! | Thursday November 20th | 7.00pm - 9.30pm
Come and join us for a discovery experience featuring the Gamay Grape! It's Beaujolais Nouveau Day on Thursday, November 20th.
This day is celebrated on the third Thursday of November each year.
It marks the release of the new Beaujolais Nouveau wine from the Beaujolais region of France.
The wine is made from the first harvest of Gamay grapes and is known for its fresh, fruity flavours. Traditionally, the day involves festivities and celebrations in Beaujolais, France, and has become popular in other places, particularly in Swansea, Wales, where it's a major social event. But we can do better than Swansea!!!
In keeping with our Sip & Learn approach, Darren will talk a little bit about Gamay, the grape variety behind Beaujolais. The we'll pop the corks and enjoy this first release whilst Barney Green entertains us with his accordion.
£25 per person including nibbles and wine on the night.
